The Anne Frank Exhibit project at Center for Jewish History integrated the Anne Frank Traveling Exhibit into two existing galleries. Altieri collaborated with the Center along with architect Bergen Street Studio and exhibit fabricator Bruns B.V. to coordinate and implement the exhibition. Existing HVAC, sprinkler, lighting, power, and data locations were modified to suit the exhibit, coordinating along the way to limit disruption to the Center which remained opened during exhibit installation. The fast-track (2 and ½ months) process included receiving input from Bruns in the Netherlands, where the exhibit was being fabricated, responding with quick feedback to ensure easy assembly and integration into the existing building in New York City, served by the existing building mechanical, electrical, IT, and fire protection services.
It was exciting to be involved in such an important and historical exhibition. We were dedicated to making sure the exhibit could be installed on time for the opening, with all program needs met in order to maximize the experience for visitors.
